Dancers who have been on SWAT, are extremely committed, and show that they are ready for new dance challenges are invited to join CDI’s Celebration team. However, participation in SWAT does not guarantee graduation to the Celebration team. Celebration members are invited to join by CDI’s teachers.
The Celebration team, one of CDI’s most advanced teams, is made up of dancers from all of CDI’s schools and meets at Eagle Rock Elementary once each week. The Celebration team learns the most challenging, advanced dances, performs at the Event of the Year show in June, and often appears in CDI’s special events, such as fundraisers, special appearances, etc.
If you've graduated to the Celebration team, we congratulate you on all of the hard work and commitment. Remember, being on Celebration requires a lot of dedication and teamwork. Rehearsals are mandatory! Everyone is working toward the Event of the Year (EoY) show and your team needs you to be present at every rehearsal.
