Summer
Camp

Your gift can brighten up the summer for under-served
Los
Angeles
youth!
CDI
holds
a
two-week
summer
camp
in
June,
where
children
have
classes
in
the
standard
CDI
repertoire,
along
with
other
dance
forms,
acting
improvisation
and
music.
With
open
admission,
all
children
are
welcome,
including
those
who
have
not
previously
experienced
CDI.
Master Teacher Workshop - $10,000
Twice a year CDI hosts teacher training and professional development for its artistic staff through week-long workshops with a National Dance Institute Master Teaching Artist – a professional dancer who has taught with NDI for over 15 years. At each workshop, the Master Teaching Artist hones CDI’s teaching skills and classroom techniques, and assists with developing child-friendly choreography for the Event of the Year production.
