Q: Does CDI come to my school? A: CDI currently comes to the following schools: Westminster, Saturn Street, Pio Pico, Marlton, Third Street Elementary, Kennedy and Eagle Rock Elementary.
Q: Will I get a grade for CDI? A: There are no “grades” for CDI. Students who participate to their fullest potential will have bigger roles and responsibilities in CDI performances and in class. CDI teachers often single out students during class who are doing an exceptional job, and provide them with leadership opportunities during class time.
Q: What should I wear? A: You should wear comfortable clothes and sneakers on days when you have CDI. Jeans are fine. You do not need any special athletic gear for class. However, ladies may wish to wear pants and not skirts or dresses on CDI days. CDI students will also be asked to wear a nametag to every class.
Q: What if I don’t like to dance? A: We understand that the students in our classes have different levels of interest in dancing. If you come to our classes and try your best, we will make your time with us fun, challenging and action packed!
Q: How do I join the SWAT team? A: Membership to SWAT is by invitation only. You can express your interest in joining to your teachers, who will be able to tell you what you need to do to be invited. Please see our special section on the SWAT to read more about our general requirements.
Q: How do I join the Celebration team? A: Membership to Celebration is also by invitation only. Because it is our most advanced team, students asked to join Celebration have generally already been on SWAT for at least one year. Please see our special section on Celebration for more information.
